Night Owl effectively filters out harmful blue light and significantly reduces screen brightness beyond the capabilities of standard Android settings. This helps alleviate eye strain, insomnia, and headaches when using your phone in dimly lit environments.

• Dim the entire screen, including notification icons and drawer
• Easily adjust filter intensity within the app or directly from the notification
• Customize the tint color or filter blue light
• Schedule automatic activation and deactivation using a timer or sun scheduler

Night Owl utilizes the "Display over other apps" feature to apply its filter, providing a darker and/or tinted screen. Additionally, as a beta feature, Night Owl leverages Android's accessibility feature to overlay a tinted filter on the entire screen, including the notification and lock screens. Please note that Night Owl does not collect any data through the Accessibility service and does not read your screen content. To utilize this feature, enable Night Owl Accessibility.
